Eucharistic Minister & Lector Training

Upcoming Training—Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors

The ministries of the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and that of the Lay Readers are two of the most visible and liturgically important ministries within the Roman Catholic Church. While we are privileged here at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish to have a good number of parishioners who are involved in and are deeply committed to these ministries, we are also aware that the Holy Spirit may be actively inviting others to enter into these ministries.

>> A warm invitation is extended to any adults who would also like to receive the training necessary to enter into these ministries. You must be a fully initiated Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church and be a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish to qualify for these ministries.

October 22:     Eucharistic Minister Training 1:30 in the Church
Lector Training 2:30 in the Church

Homebound Eucharistic Ministers will need additional training and clearances at a later date.
