Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.
This is Jesus' invitation to discipleship in Matthew 11:28-30.

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions, run over eleven weeks, where anyone interested can explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
To discuss these questions: Is there more to life that this? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? What is faith? How can I have faith? Why and how should I pray? How does God guide us?
Participants will enjoy a complimentary delicious meal, short video and a discussion over a two-hour timeframe.
Everyone is welcome. Alpha is for people of all faiths and no faiths. It is particularly valuable for people who would not describe themselves as Christians or churchgoers. Sessions are informal and provide an opportunity to meet and listen to others who are exploring their life and their faith. There are no obligations, fees nor strings attached.
An Alpha session lasts for two hours. Participants come for a meal, watch a short video, and share their thoughts on the talk within a small group who they will meet at the first session.
During the discussion portion of the session, particpants may ask their small group any questions they want. The Alpha session host will ensure the discussion ends on time.
Alpha usually lasts 11 weeks with a day away in the middle.
Great news! Alpha is free. There will be a retreat in the middle of Alpha that will have a cost per person.
Yes! Most people come to Alpha without knowing anybody else on the course. By the end of the course, most people become good friends. Alpha is a great way to meet new people!
