Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.
This is Jesus' invitation to discipleship in Matthew 11:28-30.
Father Patrick M. Crino, Pastor
The Acts of the Apostles is the story of how a few Christians empowered by the Holy Spirit were chosen to bring Christ and the Good News to the ends of the earth. Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom is a Bible study that traces how the gospel witness spread outward in waves from Jerusalem and reveals how the seeds of Church structure and authority took root. It shows how the joys and struggles of the early Christians in living the life of Christ apply to us today.
On Sundays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, January 16 through Sunday, April 10, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish continues a weekly Bible study Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom. Participants meet each week for lively group discussion and fellowship followed by the viewing of an engaging video presentation. New participants are welcome.
