St. Therese - Love Beads

Parishioner Hannah Zoucha is responsible for the restoration of the St. Therese of Lisieux statue, located in the Religious Education office foyer.

Hannah is the wife of Douglas and mother of Joseph, Andrew, and Thaddeus. Prior to discovering her vocation of marriage, she had the joy of discerning a religious vocation with the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart, of Los Angeles for six years - (without having taken permanent vows). My Carmelite family will always be dear to her heart - as will Carmel and its charism and inspiring saints.

Painting on canvas, painting clay model churches, as well as other creative projects has been Hannah's enjoyable pastime over the years. Now that her sons are grown, she had been praying that God will guide her to do His will and to find new avenues of creativity and service.

Enter the opportunity, with God’s help and that of St. Therese, to return the lovely statue of St. Therese of the Child Jesus back to her Carmelite simplicity and beauty, and perhaps thereby to have uncovered another potential future hobby and possible talent as well.
